"Tattoos are the mirror of each person's soul"

My story

It all started in 1987. I accompanied a friend to get tattooed at one of the few studios that existed in Italy — there were only five in the entire country. When I saw the process, it was like a flash. I fell in love with tattoos at that moment. I got my zodiac sign tattooed that very day.

You have to understand something: I've been drawing my whole life. It's been my passion since I was born. So when I saw you could draw on skin, I knew that was my calling.

Learning was a brutal struggle. No schools, no YouTube, nothing. In a magazine I found the phone numbers of the five studios in Italy and started calling them one by one. Almost everyone told me to get lost. They were all jealous of their craft.

Until one day, an elderly tattoo artist from Florence — Maurizio Fiorini — told me on the phone: "Come to Florence, let's meet, and we'll see what happens."

I painted a picture, went to Florence, gave it to Maurizio as a gift, and we hit it off immediately. That's where my story began. Many trips to learn. Later, Maurizio sent me to Turin to other tattoo artists — Giorgio and Nando — who helped me enormously, getting me machines, colors, needles... things that were practically impossible to get in those years.

From Italy to Tenerife

In 1989 I opened my first shop in Italy, in Casarsa della Delizia. Then I opened a second one in Aviano. I started travelling a lot, tattooing all over Europe.

One day, some friends invited me to Tenerife. And it was love at first sight again. I fell in love with the island, the warmth, the sun, and its people. I sold everything in Italy and moved here permanently. I got married, had two children, and here we are after more than 35 years.

Why "Lucifer"?

The name has a very old story. When I was 14, I was with a group of radio amateurs. I was "Alpha 65". There was a very old man in the group who called himself "Lucifer". Over time I became very close friends with this elderly man.

Unfortunately, one day he passed away. And the group, for whatever reason, stopped calling me by my nickname and started calling me "Little Lucifer". That's how I became Lucifer in the radio amateur world. And when I opened the studio, the name came naturally.
